000 TTAA00 KATL 201544 SVRATL GAC047-083-295-201615- BULLETIN - IMMEDIATE BROADCAST REQUESTED SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE PEACHTREE CITY GA 1144 AM EDT SAT APR 20 1996 THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN PEACHTREE CITY HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 1215 PM EDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATIONS... IN NORTHWEST GEORGIA ...CATOOSA COUNTY...DADE COUNTY...WALKER COUNTY AT 1140 EDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE RADAR INDICATED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM 5 MILES WEST OF TRENTON IN DADE COUNTY MOVING EAST AT 40 MPH. THIS IS A DANGEROUS STORM THAT MAY CONTAIN HIGH WINDS AND LARGE HAIL. A TORNADO WATCH IS ALSO IN EFFECT FOR THE WARNED AREA. REMEMBER SEVERE THUNDERST ORMS CAN AND OCCASIONALLY DO PRODUCE TORNADOES WITH LITTLE OR NO ADVANCE WARNING. REMAIN CALM BUT BE ALERT TO RAPIDLY CHANGING WEATHER CONDITIONS.
