000 TTAA00 KSAT 030412 SVRSAT TXC055-030515- BULLETIN - IMMEDIATE BROADCAST REQUESTED SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE AUSTIN/SAN ANTONIO TX 1109 PM CDT SUN JUN 2 1996 THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN AUSTIN/SAN ANTONIO HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 1215 AM CDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION... IN SOUTH CENTRAL TEXAS ...CALDWELL COUNTY AT 1106 PM CDT DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM ON HWY 20 BETWEEN DALE AND MC MAHAN IN THE EXTREME EASTERN PORTIONS OF CALDWELL COUNTY. THIS STORM MAY CONTAIN LARGE HAIL AND GUSTY WINDS. THIS STORM WAS MOVING TO THE SOUTHWEST AND WILL MOVE TO THE SOUTH OF LOCKHART IN THE NEXT 30 MINUTES. SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WINDS CAN REACH SPEEDS OVER 60 MPH. THESE WINDS BLOW DOWN TREES...POWER LINES...AND SEVERELY DAMAGE MOBILE HOMES... SOMETIMES BUILDINGS.
