000 TTAA00 KSAT 070638 SVRSAT TXC299-070730- BULLETIN - IMMEDIATE BROADCAST REQUESTED SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE AUSTIN/SAN ANTONIO TX 1233 AM CST THU NOV 7 1996 THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN AUSTIN/SAN ANTONIO HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 130 AM CST FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION... IN SOUTH CENTRAL TEXAS ...LLANO COUNTY AT 1230 AM...RADAR INDICATED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM 10 MILES WEST OF LAKE LBJ. THE STORM IS MOVING RAPIDLY EAST AT 45 TO 50 MPH AND CAPABLE OF PRODUCING DAMAGING WINDS. SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WINDS CAN REACH SPEEDS OVER 60 MPH. THESE WINDS BLOW DOWN TREES...POWER LINES...AND SEVERELY DAMAGE MOBILE HOMES... SOMETIMES BUILDINGS. VERY LARGE HAIL CAN INJURE ANYONE CAUGHT OUTSIDE.
