  WESTERN STORY COUNTY - CENTRAL IOWA

* SOME STREAMS AFFECTED
    SQUAW CREEK

* CAUSE AND EFFECT
    HEAVY RAINS BETWEEN 4 AND 7 INCHES IN THE SQUAW CREEK BASIN
    EARLIER THIS EVENING HAVE CAUSED RAPID RISES IN THE CREEK. THE
    STAGE AT 11 PM CDT WAS 3.8 FEET.

* FORECAST CONDITIONS
    THE CREEK SHOULD RISE TO A LEVEL OF 11 FEET BETWEEN 4 AND 5
    AM CDT. THIS WILL OVERFLOW THE RIGHT BANK AFFECTING PARKING
    LOTS ON THE EAST SIDE OF DUFF AVENUE.
