000 TTAA00 KDDC 220052 TORDDC KSC171-220140- BULLETIN - EBS ACTIVATION REQUESTED TORNADO WARNING NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DODGE CITY KS 752 PM CDT SUN JUL 21 1996 THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN DODGE CITY KS HAS ISSUED A TORNADO WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 840 PM CDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION... IN WEST CENTRAL KANSAS ...SCOTT COUNTY AT 750 PM SPOTTERS REPORTED A TORNADO ON THE GROUND 7 MILES WEST OF SCOTT CITY...NEAR HESS FEED YARD. THE TORNADO WAS MOVING SOUTHEAST AT 25 MPH AND WILL BE NEAR SCOTT CITY BY 755 PM AND SHALLOW WATER BY 810 PM. THIS IS A DANGEROUS STORM SITUATION. ACT QUICKLY. IF YOU ARE IN THE PATH OF THIS DEVELOPING TORNADO...MOVE TO A SHELTER BELOW GROUND IF AVAILABLE. OTHERWISE...GO TO A SMALL INTERIOR ROOM ON THE LOWEST FLOOR POSSIBLE AND STAY AWAY FROM WINDOWS.
