THE STRONGEST STORM WAS LOCATED ABOUT 5 MILES SOUTH OF WHEATLAND. OTHER WEAK STORMS WERE LOCATED ALONG THE LARAMIE RANGE. MOST STORMS WERE MOVING SOUTHEAST AT 20 TO 25 MPH. THIS INITIAL BATCH OF STORMS WILL MAINLY AFFECT SOUTHERN PLATTE... SOUTHERN GOSHEN AND NORTHERN LARAMIE COUNTIES THROUGH 4 PM. AT 345 PM MDT A FEW STRONG THUNDERSTORMS HAD FORMED OVER SOUTHEAST WYOMING WITH HEAVY RAINFALL AND STRONG GUSTY WINDS. THE STRONGEST STORMS WERE LOCATED NEAR CHEYENNE...ONE 25 MILES NORTH OF CHEYENNE MOVING SOUTHEAST AT 20 TO 25 MPH...AND ANOTHER STORM 15 MILES SOUTHEAST OF CHEYENNE MOVING TO THE EAST NORTHEAST AT 20 MPH. THE NORTHERN STORM...ON ITS CURRENT TRACK WILL AFFECT BURNS BY 445 PM AND THE SECOND STORM WILL AFFECT CARPENTER BY 415 PM.
