THE FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR ERIE COUNTY PENNSYLVANIA HAS BEEN
EXTENDED UNTIL 600 PM EDT.
 
TORRENTIAL RAIN CONTINUES TO FALL ACROSS PORTIONS OF ERIE COUNTY
PENNSYLVANIA. THIS IS A VERY DANGEROUS SITUATION. THERE HAVE BEEN
MANY REPORTS OF EVACUTIONS... BASEMENT WALLS COLLAPSING AND
ROAD CLOSURES. HEAVY RAIN WILL CONTINUE THROUGH 3 TO 4 PM.
RAINFALL TOTALS WILL EXCEED 5 INCHES BY THE RUSH HOUR.
 
MOST DEATHS IN FLASH FLOODING OCCUR IN AUTOMOBILES.  DO NOT
ATTEMPT TO CROSS BRIDGES...DIPS...OR LOW SPOTS IF WATER COVERS
THE ROADWAY.  NEVER TRY TO CROSS A FLOWING STREAM...EVEN A
