000 TTAA00 KCLE 190236 FFWCLE OHC035-103-190430- FLOOD WARNING NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE CLEVELAND OH 1034 PM EDT TUE JUN 18 1996 THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN CLEVELAND HAS ISSUED A FLOOD WARNING FOR URBAN AREAS AND SMALL STREAMS EFFECTIVE UNTIL 1230 AM EDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATIONS... IN OHIO ...CUYAHOGA COUNTY...MEDINA COUNTY THUNDERSTORMS WITH HEAVY RAINS WERE MOVING THROUGH CUYAHOGA AND MEDINA COUNTIES AT 1030 PM. FLOODING OF STREET WAS REPORTED IN STRONGSVILLE IN SOUTHWEST CUYAHOGA COUNTY AND IN BRUNSWICK IN NORTHWEST MEDINA COUNTY. ONE-AND-QUARTER INCHES OF RAIN FELL IN 45 MINUTES IN BRUNSWICK. THE THUNDERSTORMS SHOULD MOVE OUT OF THE AREA BY 1130 PM...HOWEVER SOME FLOODING OF STREETS AND LOW LYING AREAS WILL CONTINUE FOR AWHILE AFTER THE RAINS END. DO NOT DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE INTO AREAS WHERE THE WATER COVERS THE ROADWAY. THE WATER DEPTH MAY BE TOO GREAT TO ALLOW YOUR CAR TO CROSS SAFELY.
