000 TTAA00 KBOS 132131 FFWBOS MAC011-140130- BULLETIN - EBS ACTIVATION REQUESTED FLASH FLOOD WARNING NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE TAUNTON MA 531 PM EDT THU JUN 13 1996 THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN TAUNTON HAS ISSUED A FLASH FLOOD WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 930 PM EDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION... IN WEST MASSACHUSETTS ...FRANKLIN COUNTY THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS EXTENDED THE FLASH FLOOD WARNING TO INCLUDE ALL OF FRANKLIN COUNTY UNTIL 930 PM. THUNDERSTORMS CONTINUE TO PRODUCE RAIN OF 1 TO 2 INCHES AN HOUR. POLICE IN GREENFIELD IN WESTERN FRANKLIN COUNTY HAVE CLOSED SEVERAL ROADS. HEAVY RAINFALL IS EXPECTED TO CONTINUE INTO THIS EVENING. BE ESPECIALLY CAUTIOUS AT NIGHT WHEN IT IS HARDER TO RECOGNIZE THE DANGERS OF FLOODS AND FLASH FLOODS. IF FLASH FLOODING IS OBSERVED...ACT QUICKLY. MOVE UP TO ESCAPE FLOOD WATERS.
