000 TTAA00 KBHM 010745 RRA TORBHM ALC051-010815- BULLETIN - EAS ACTIVATION REQUESTED TORNADO WARNING NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE BIRMINGHAM AL 145 AM CST SUN DEC 1 1996 THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN BIRMINGHAM HAS ISSUED A TORNADO WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 215 AM CST FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION... IN CENTRAL ALABAMA ...EASTERN ELMORE COUNTY A TORNADO WAS INDICATED BY RADAR OVER NORTHEASTERN MONTGOMERY COUNTY MOVING INTO SOUTHEAST ELMORE COUNTY. THIS IS A LARGE AND VERY DANGEROUS STORM MOVING TO THE NORTHEAST AT 40 MPH. THIS IS A DANGEROUS STORM SITUATION. ACT QUICKLY. IF YOU ARE IN THE PATH OF THIS TORNADO MOVE TO A SHELTER BELOW GROUND IF AVAILABLE. OTHERWISE...GO TO A SMALL INTERIOR ROOnM ON THE LOWEST FLOOR POSSIBLE. AVOID WINDOWS.
