SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL  830 PM CDT
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION...
 
IN WEST CENTRAL ALABAMA
 
   ...LAMAR COUNTY
 
AT 740 PM CST A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WAS MOVING INTO THE WESTERN EDGE OF
LAMAR COUNTY. THIS STORM WAS LOCATED ABOUT 8 MILES WEST OF VERNON AND
WAS MOVING EAST AT 15 MPH. THIS STORM WILL AFFECT THE
VERNON...MOLLOY...AND STAR AREAS BEFORE 750 PM. THE STORM MAY PRODUCE
LARGE HAIL AND DAMAGING WINDS.
 
WHEN THUNDERSTORMS ARE OCCURRING...PEOPLEN SHOULD MOVE INSIDE A
STRONG BUILDING.  DO NOT STAND BY WINDOWS.  DON'T USE TELEPHONES
OR ELECTRICAL APPLIANCES UNLESS IN AN EMERGENCY UNTIL THE STORM
HAS PASSED.  MOTORISTS SHOULD NOT DRIVE INTO LOW WATER CROSSINGS.
