FLOOD WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL  815 AM EDT SUNDAY
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATIONS...
 
IN SOUTH VERMONT
 
   ...BENNINGTON COUNTY...WINDHAM COUNTY
 
RAINFALL IN EXCESS OF 2 INCHES HAS FALLEN OVER SOUTHEN VERMONT AND SOME
SMALL STREAMS IN BENNINGTON AND WINDHAM COUNTIES WERE COMING UP OVER
THEIR BANKS. RAIN WILL CONTINUE THIS EVENING BUT WILL TAPER OFF
OVERNIGHT. HOWEVER IT WILL TAKE A NUMBER OF HOURS FOR RUNOFF TO END.
 
IF YOU LIVE IN THESE AREAS BE ALERT FOR FLOODING AND BE PREPARED TO MOVE
TO A SAFE PLACE IMMEDIATELY.
 
BE ESPECIALLY CAUTIOUS AT NIGHT WHEN IT IS HARDER TO RECOGNIZE
THE DANGERS OF FLOODS AND FLASH FLOODS.  IF FLASH FLOODING IS

THUNDERSTORMS HAVE MOVED OUT OF THE REGION AND THE THREAT OF DAMAGING
WIND...HAIL AND TORNADOES NO LONGER EXISTS IN THESE COUNTIES.  EARLIER
THIS EVENING THERE WERE SEVERAL REPORTS OF WIND DAMAGE ACROSS CENTRAL
ULSTER COUNTY NEAR THE TOWN OF ACCORD.
