SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL  730 AM CDT
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION...
 
IN EAST CENTRAL KANSAS
 
   ...SOUTHERN WABAUNSEE COUNTY
 
AT 645 AM CDT...DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM
25 MILES SOUTH OF MANHATTAN OR JUST SOUTHWEST OF ALTA VISTA.
THIS STORM IS MOVING TO THE EAST AT 20 MPH AND WILL MOVE
ACROSS ALTA VISTA BY 7 AM...AND BE NEAR HESSDALE AND
ESKRIDGE BY 715 AM...AND TO HARVEYVILLE BY 730 AM.
 
IF YOU ARE IN THE PATH OF THIS STORM....GET TO A SHELTER UNTIL
THE STORM PASSES.
 
QUARTER TO HALF DOLLAR SIZE HAIL WAS REPORTED WITH THIS STORM
AS IT MOVED THROUGH WHITE CITY SHORTLY AFTER 630 AM.
 
THIS IS A DANGEROUS STORM.  IF YOU ARE IN ITS PATH YOU SHOULD
PREPARE FOR DAMAGING WIND IN EXCESS OF 55 MPH...LARGE HAIL...AND
DEADLY LIGHTNING.  PEOPLE OUTSIDE SHOULD MOVE TO A SHELTER...
PREFERABLY INSIDE A STRONG BUILDING BUT STAY AWAY FROM WINDOWS.
