000 TTAA00 KPIT 242020 SVRPIT PAC073-242115- BULLETIN - IMMEDIATE BROADCAST REQUESTED SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE PITTSBURGH PA 419 PM EDT WED MAY 24 1995 THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN PITTSBURGH HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 515 PM EDT FOR THE FOLLOWING LOCATION... IN NORTHWEST PENNSYLVANIA ...LAWRENCE COUNTY AT 420 PM DOPPLER WEATHER RADAR INDICATED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM MOVING INTO WESTERN LAWRENCE COUNTY. THE STORM WILL PASS NEAR THE BESSEMER BORO AND NEW CASTLE. THE STORM IS MOVING EAST NORTHEAST AT 40 MPH. THIS IS A DANGEROUS STORM. IF YOU ARE IN ITS PATH...PREPARE FOR DAMAGING WIND OVER 55 MPH...LARGE HAIL...AND DEADLY LIGHTNING. TAKE SHELTER INSIDE A STRONG BUILDING BUT AWAY FROM WINDOWS.
