A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM ON THE SOUTH SHORE OF LONG ISLAND IN THE VICINITY
OF SHIRLEY AND PATCHOGUE IS MOVING NORTH AT 45 MPH. THIS THUNDERSTORM
IS CAPABLE OF PRODUCING STRONG GUSTY WINDS AND HEAVY RAINS. THE STORM
WILL TRACK TOWARD THE NORTH ACROSS LONG ISLAND EFFECT CORAM...ROCKY
POINT...CENTRAL LONG ISLAND SOUND WITHIN THE NEXT 15 TO 30 MINUTES.
 
 
 
IF YOU ARE CAUGHT OUTSIDE...SEEK SHELTER FROM THE WEATHER IN A
STRONG BUILDING.  DAMAGING WIND AND VERY HEAVY RAIN ARE ALL
POSSIBLE IN SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS. STAY INSIDE AWAY FROM WINDOWS
