AT 545 PM EDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR SHOWED A CLUSTER
OF STRONG THUNDERSTORMS MOVING INTO NORTHERN NASSAU COUNTY...NEAR
HUNTINGTON. THESE THUNDERSTORMS HAVE A HISTORY OF PRODUCING FLOODING IN
PORTIONS OF NORTHERN QUEENS.
 
THESE THUNDERSTORMS HAVE THE POTENTIAL TO PRODUCE RAIN IN EXCESS OF 1
INCH IN AN HOUR.
