000 TTAA00 KBHM 100754 SVRMGM ALC061-100900- BULLETIN - IMMEDIATE BROADCAST REQUESTED SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE MONTGOMERY AL ISSUED BY BIRMINGHAM AL 253 AM CDT WED MAY 10 1995 THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 400 AM CDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION... IN SOUTHEAST ALABAMA ...GENEVA COUNTY AT 2:53 AM WEATHER RADAR INDICATED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM ALONG THE COVINGTON/GENEVA COUNTY LINE. THIS STORM HAS DOWNED TREES AND POWER LINES IN COVINGTON COUNTY. THE STORM WAS MOVING EAST AT 30 MPH, AND WILL AFFECT THE SAMSON AND GENEVA AREAS BETWEEN 3 AND 3:15 AM. A TORNADO WATCH IS ALSO IN EFFECT FOR THE WARNED AREA. REMEMBETR SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS CAN AND OCCASIONALLY DO PRODUCE TORNADOES WITH LITTLE OR NO ADVANCE WARNING. REMAIN CALM BUT BE ALERT TO RAPIDLY CHANGING WEATHER CONDITIONS. &

AT 130 AM CDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE RADAR INDICATED A CLUSTER OF STRONG THUNDERSTORMS...SOME WITH VERY HEAVY RAIN...WAS OVER NORTHWEST FLORIDA AND SOUTHERN ALABAMA.
