SEVERE THUNDERSTORM AND SPECIAL MARINE WARNING
EFFECTIVE UNTIL  200 AM CDT
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION...

IN SOUTHWEST ALABAMA

   ...MOBILE COUNTY

  AND FOR THE COASTAL WATERS OF ALABAMA

  FROM PETIT BOIS ISLAND ...PERDIDO PASS...INCLUDING MOBILE BAY...

AT 102 AM CDT MOBILE DOPPLER WEATHER RADAR INDICATED A LINE OF
THUNDERSTORMS OVER WESTERN MOBILE COUNTY EXTENDING SOUTHWEST TO THE
CHANDELEUR ISLANDS. THE LINE WAS MOVING EAST AT 30 MPH.


A T8ORNADO WATCH IS ALSO IN EFFECT FOR THE WARNED AREA.  REMEMBER
SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS CAN AND OCCASIONALLY DO PRODUCE TORNADOES
WITH LITTLE OR NO ADVANCE WARNING.  REMAIN CALM BUT BE ALERT TO

815 PM CDT...

AT 725 PM CDT...THAT NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE RADAR INDICATED STRONG
THUNDERSTORMS OVER CENTRAL WALTON...SOUTHEAST HOLMES AND EAST WASHINGTON
COUNTIES.  STRONG THUNDERSTORM ACTIVITY WILL CONTINUE FOR THE NEXT
COUPLE OF HOURS OVER THESE COUNTIES. MOVEMENT WAS TOWARD THE EAST AT 20
TO 25 MILES AN HOUR.

A LARGE AREA OF PRECIPITAION EXTENDED ACROSS THE PANHANDLE FROM
WASHINGTON TO ESCAMBIA COUNTIES.

A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WAS INDICATED OVER THE MISSISSIPPI SOUND 45 MILES
SOUTHWEST OF MOBILE ALABAMA.
