LENOIR...PITT...AND JONES COUNTIES UNTIL 9 PM...

A STRONG THUNDERSTORM DEVELOPING ACROSS NORTHERN DUPLIN COUNTY WILL
MOVE SOUTHEAST OVER THE CENTRAL AND SOUTHERN PARTS OF THE COUNTY
THROUGH 5 PM. DOPPLER WEATHER RADAR IN NEWPORT SHOWED SMALL HAIL IS
POSSIBLE WITH THIS STORM AS IT APPROACHES THE TOWN OF KENANSVILLE
BY 430 PM. PERSONS IN DUPLIN COUNTY CAN EXPECT FREQUENT DEADLY
LIGHTNING AND BRIEF VERY HEAVY RAINFALL AS WELL AS POSSIBLE LOCALIZED
WIND GUSTS TO 35 MPH.
