000 TTAA00 KMAF 262317 RRA SVRMAF TXC103-461-270015- BULLETIN - IMMEDIATE BROADCAST REQUESTED SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE MIDLAND TX 617 PM CDT FRI MAY 26 1995 THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN MIDLAND HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 715 PM CDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATIONS... IN WEST TEXAS ...SOUTHERN CRANE COUNTY...UPTON COUNTY AT 615 PM CDT...DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS 15 MILES SOUTH OF CRANE AND 14 MILES NORTH OF CRANE. THE STORMS WERE MOVING EAST AT 30 MILES AN HOUR. THE SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WILL BE IN CRANE BY 635 PM CDT AND IS MOVING INTO NORTHERN UPTON COUNTY AT THIS TIME. A TORNADO WATCH IS ALSO IN EFFECT FOR THE WARNED AREA. REMEMBER SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS CAN AND OCCASIONALLY DO PRODUCE TORNADOES WITH LITTLE OR NO ADVANCE WARNING. REMAIN CALM BUT BE ALERT TO RAPIDLY CHANGING WEATHER CONDITIONS.
