IN WEST TEXAS ...ECTOR COUNTY...MIDLAND COUNTY AT 948 PM CDT...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WAS LOCATED IN THE VICINITY OF ODESSA. MOVEMENT WAS EAST AT 20 MILES AN HOUR. PERSONS IN MIDLAND AND ECTOR COUNTY SHOULD PREPARE FOR WINDS IN EXCESS OF 55...DEADLY LIGHTNING... AND VERY HEAVY RAIN. MOVEMENT WAS EAST AT 15 MILES AN HOUR. THIS THUNDERSTORM WAS PART OF A LINE OF SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS... SOME WITH VERY HEAVY RAINFALL... AND SHOWERS THAT EXTENDED FROM WHITE FACE TO THE BIG BEND OF TEXAS. THUNDERSTORMS WITHIN THIS LINE PRODUCING VERY HEAVY RAINFALL WERE LOCATED JUST WEST BROWNFIELD AND ALSO FROM 15 MILES NORTHEAST OF PECOS TO 25 MILES SOUTH OF PECOS.
