000 TTAA00 KLBB 030439 TORLBB TXC303-030515- BULLETIN - EBS ACTIVATION REQUESTED TORNADO WARNING NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE LUBBOCK TX 1137 PM CDT FRI JUN 2 1995 THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN LUBBOCK HAS ISSUED A TORNADO WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 1215 AM CDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION... IN NORTHWEST TEXAS ...NORTHERN LUBBOCK COUNTY AT 1137 PM...LUBBOCK RADAR AND STORM SPOTTERS SHOWED A POSSIBLE DEVELOPING TORNADO ABOUT 5 MILES WEST OF LUBBOCK INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT OR JUST EAST OF SHALLOWATER. PUBLIC REPORTS OF HAIL UP TO SOFTBALL SIZED WERE RECEIVED AT 1128 PM. THIS STORM WAS MOVING EAST AT 10 MILES AN HOUR. PERSONS IN ITS PATH SHOULD TAKE COVER IMMEDIATELY. IF YOU ARE IN THE PATH OF A TORNADO...THE SAFEST PLACE IS A BASEMENT. GET UNDER A WORKBENCH OR PIECE OF STURDY FURNITURE.
