...A TORNADO WATCH IS IN EFFECT FOR THE WESTERN SOUTH PLAINS UNTIL 10
   PM CDT...

AT 520 PM CDT WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A STRONG
THUNDERSTORM ABOUT 8 MILES EAST OF FLOYDADA NEAR DOUGHERTY.  THIS
STORM WAS MOVING NORTHEAST AT 20 MILES AN HOUR AND SHOULD MOVE
INTO WESTERN MOTLEY COUNTY WEST OF MATADOR BY 545 PM. STRONG GUSTY
WIND...HAIL...LOCALLY HEAVY RAIN AND FREQUENT LIGHTNING ARE LIKELY WITH
THIS STORM.

ANOTHER STORM HAD DEVELOPED NEAR OLTON IN NORTHEAST LAMB COUNTY.
