ILZ005-006-012>014-020-022-INZ001-280000- SPECIAL WEATHER STATEMENT NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE CHICAGO IL 100 PM CDT THU JUL 27 1995 THUNDERSTORMS APPROACHING THE CHICAGO AREA WILL BE PUSHING FROM NORTHWEST TO SOUTHEAST ACROSS THE METROPOLITAN AREA...ARRIVING IN THE FAR NORTH AND NORTHWEST SUBURBS BY 730 PM AND PUSHING INTO LAKE COUNTY INDIANA BY ABOUT 9PM. THESE STORMS HAVE HAD A HISTORY OF SEVERE WEATHER...AND A TORNADO WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT FOR THE AREA UNTIL MIDNIGHT. AT 7PM THE LEADING EDGE OF THE THUNDERSTORM AREA EXTENDED FROM MILWAUKEE...ABOUT 90 MILES NORTH OF CHICAGO...TO ABOUT 60 MILES WEST OF THE CHICAGO.
