IN NORTH CENTRAL ILLINOIS ...NORTHWESTERN DE KALB COUNTY...EASTERN OGLE COUNTY AT 715 PM CDT...DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM IN EASTERN OGLE COUNTY NEAR KINGS...OR 18 MILES NORTHWEST OF DEKALB. THE STORM IS MOVING EAST 30 MPH...AND WILL AFFECT THE TOWNS OF LINDENWOOD...ROCHELLE AND SYCAMORE. THE MAIN THREAT FROM THIS STORM IS DAMAGING WINDS. THESE STORMS HAVE HAD A HISTORY OF SEVERE WEATHER...AND A TORNADO WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT FOR THE AREA UNTIL MIDNIGHT.
