IN SOUTHEAST LOUISIANA ...SOUTHERN JEFFERSON PARISH...SOUTHERN PLAQUEMINES PARISH AND FOR MARINE INTERESTS IN THE COASTAL WATERS FROM... ...BARATARIA BAY TO BRETON SOUND AT 415 PM CDT...RADAR INDICATED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM PRODUCING A POSSIBLE TORNADO JUST NORTH OF GRAND ISLE. ANOTHER SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WAS INDICATED NEAR POINTE A LA HACHE. THESE STORMS WERE MOVING EAST AT 40 MPH. IF YOU ARE IN THE PATH OF A TORNADO...THE SAFEST PLACE IS A BASEMENT.
