FLASH FLOOD WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL  815 PM CDT
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATIONS...
 
IN SOUTHEAST TEXAS
 
   ...HARDIN COUNTY...JASPER COUNTY...NEWTON COUNTY
 
AT 512 PM...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED THAT
3 TO 5 INCHES OF RAIN HAVE FALLEN ACROSS HARDIN...SOUTHERN JASPER
AND SOUTHER NEWTON COUNTIES. ADDITIONAL HEAVY RAINS THIS AFTERNOON
AND EVENING WILL CAUSE MORE FLOODING PROBLEMS.
 
DO NOT DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE INTO AREAS WHERE THE WATER COVERS THE
ROADWAY.  THE WATER DEPTH MAY BE TOO GREAT TO ALLOW YOUR CAR TO
CROSS SAFELY.  VEHICLES CAUGHT IN RISING WATER SHOULD BE
ABANDONED QUICKLY.  MOVE TO HIGHER GROUND.
