...FLOOD WARNING IS IN EFFECT FOR THE VERMILION RIVER...

THE VERMILION RIVER AT SURREY STREET BRIDGE IN LAFAYETTE WAS
AT 14.82 FEET AT 720 AM. THE RIVER HAS CRESTED FOR THE TIME
BEING. THIS WILL CAUSE MAJOR FLOODING OF HOMES IN THE CITY OF
LAFAYETTE.

THIS CREST MAY BE REVISED UPWARD LATER THIS MORNING IF HEAVY RAIN
DEVELOPS AGAIN.
