...FLOOD WARNING HAS BEEN ISSUED FOR THE VERMILION RIVER...

THE VERMILION RIVER AT SURREY STREET BRIDGE IN LAFAYETTE WAS
AT 13.70 FEET AT 320 AM. THE RIVER IS EXPECTED TO CREST EARLY
THIS MORNING AT AROUND 15.00 FEET. THIS WILL CAUSE MAJOR FLOODING
OF HOMES IN THE CITY OF LAFAYETTE.

THIS CREST MAY REVISED UPWARD LATER IF HEAVY RAINS PERSIST.
