IN NORTH FLORIDA ...SOUTHEASTERN CLAY COUNTY...NORTHERN PUTNAM COUNTY AT 840 AM DOPPLER RADAR IN JACKSONVILLE WAS SHOWING A POSSIBLE TORNADO NEAR THE INTERSECTION OF ROUTE 16 AND ROUTE 17 NEAR GREEN COVE SPRINGS. MOVEMENT WAS WEST AND IS MOVING TOWARD CAMP BLANDING BY 850 AM. DO NOT USE YOUR CAR TO TRY TO OUTRUN A TORNADO. CARS ARE EASILY TOSSED AROUND BY TORNADO WINDS. IF YOU ARE CAUGHT IN THE PATH OF A TORNADO...LEAVE THE CAR AND GO TO A STRONG BUILDING. IF NO STRUCTURE IS NEARBY...SEEK SHELTER IN A DITCH OR LOW SPOT.
