IN NORTHEAST INDIANA ...WHITLEY COUNTY AT 1048 EST...RADAR INDICATED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM JUST WEST OF COLUMBIA CITY INDIANA. THE STORM WAS MOVING EAST AT 25 MILES PER HOUR AND CONTAINED DAMAGING HAIL AND DESTRUCTIVE WINDS. PERSONS IN COLUMBIA CITY AND CHURUBUSCO SHOULD GO TO A SAFE PLACE TO SEEK SHELTER. IF YOU ARE CAUGHT OUTSIDE...SEEK SHELTER FROM THE WEATHER IN A STRONG BUILDING. DAMAGING WIND...LARGE HAIL...VERY HEAVY RAIN... AND DEADLY LIGHTNING ARE ALL POSSIBLE IN SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS.
