000 TTAA00 KILN 230145 FFWILN OHC021-230500- BULLETIN - EBS ACTIVATION REQUESTED FLASH FLOOD WARNING NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE WILMINGTON OH 943 PM EDT THU JUN 22 1995 THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN WILMINGTON HAS ISSUED A FLASH FLOOD WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 1 AM EDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION... IN WEST CENTRAL OHIO ...CHAMPAIGN COUNTY DOPPLER RADAR ESTIMATES THAT OVER 1.5 INCHES OF RAIN HAS FALLEN IN WESTERN CHAMPAIGN COUNTY SINCE 9 PM. MORE HEAVY RAIN IS ON THE WAY IN THE FORM OF MORE THUNDERSTORMS. SMALL STREAMS WILL RISE IN RESPONSE TO THE HEAVY RAIN AND PONDING OF WATER ON ROADWAYS WILL OCCUR CREATING HAZARDOUS DRIVING CONDITIONS. BE ESPECIALLY CAUTIOUS AT NIGHT WHEN IT IS HARDER TO RECOGNIZE THE DANGERS OF FLOODS AND FLASH FLOODS. IF FLOODING IS OBSERVED... ACT QUICKLY. MOVE TO HIGHER GROUND TO ESCAPE FLOOD WATERS.
