EXTREMELY HEAVY RAIN CONTINUES ALONG AND INLAND OF THE E-W OUTFLOW
BOUNDARY.  LAST COUPLE OF HOURS OF SATELITE IMAGERY SUGGESTS BOUNDARY
LIFTING SLOWLY NORTHWARD.  IF THIS TREND CONTINUES SUSPECT HEAVY RAIN
FOCUS COULD SHIFT FURTHER INLAND.  RAINFALL TOTALS IN EXCESS OF 10
INCHES LIKELY ALREADY IN PORTIONS OF BRAZORIA AND MATAGORDAY COUNDIES
WITH LARGE AREA IN EXCESS OF 5 INCHES.  ANOTHER AREA OF 3 TO 5 INCH
RAINS OCCURRED OVERNIGHT FROM BURLESON COUNTY EAST THROUGH
LIVINGSTON. WSR-88D ESTIMATES WERE 30% TO 50% BELOW RAINGAGE TOTALS.

AGREE WITH SWODY1 AND QPFERD THAT ALL FEATURES NECESSARY FOR
EXCESSIVE RAIN AND/OR SEVERE WEATHER WILL REMAIN IN PLACE THROUGH
TONIGHT.  A WELL DEFINED SPEED MAX DROPPING INTO BASE OF SW LOW THIS
AFTERNOON IS EXPECTED TO ENTER SOUTH TEXAS TONIGHT. THE COUPLING OF
THAT FEATURE WITH THE LOW LEVEL JET AND THETAE RIDGE OVER OR JUST
WEST OF SOUTHEAST TEXAS AND THE LARGE ENTRANCE REGION OF THE MAIN JET
OVER MID/UPPER MS VALLEY SHOULD RESULT IN MAJOR CONVECTIVE
DEVELOPMENT FROM SOUTH CENTRAL TEXAS EASTWARD.  NEEDLESS TO
SAY...WILL NEED FLASH FLOOD WATCH AND MENTION OF SEVERE THROUGH
TONIGHT.  FRONT SHOULD COME THROUGH MIDDAY MONDAY FOLLOWED BY WINDY
AND COLDER.
