000 TTAA00 KGRI 122243 TORGRI KSC163-122330- BULLETIN - EBS ACTIVATION REQUESTED TORNADO WARNING NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HASTINGS NE 543 PM CDT FRI MAY 12 1995 THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN HASTINGS NE HAS ISSUED A TORNADO WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 630 PM CDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION... IN NORTH CENTRAL KANSAS ...ROOKS COUNTY DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A POSSIBLE TORNADO IN THE VICINITY OF DAMAR OR 33 MILES SOUTH OF PHILLIPSBURG. THIS STORM WAS MOVING TO THE EAST AT ABOUT 30 MPH AND WILL PASS NEAR WEBSTER STATE PARK RESERVOIR BY 550 PM CDT AND SOUTH OF STOCKTON BY 6PM CDT. PERSONS IN THE WARNED AREA SHOULD TAKE SHELTER IN A BASEMENT IF AVAILABLE. OTHERWISE GO TO A SMALL INTERIOR ROOM ON THE LOWEST FLOOR. CARS AND MOBILE HOMES SHOULD BE ABANDONED.
