TOWARD SOPERTON IN TREUTLEN COUNTY.

WIDELY SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS WILL DEVELOP ACROSS NORTH AND
CENTRAL GEORGIA THIS AFTERNOON THEN DIMINISH THIS EVENING. NONE
ARE EXPECTED TO BECOME SEVERE.

A COLD FRONT MAKING ITS WAY ACROSS EXTREME NORTH GEORGIA THIS
MORNING IS EXPECTED TO DRIFT SLOWLY SOUTHWARD TO NEAR AN
ATLANTA TO ATHENS LINE THIS AFTERNOON THEN BECOME STATIONARY.

WITH ABUNDANT MOISTURE OVER THE STATE... SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS
ARE EXPECTED TO DEVELOP ALONG AND SOUTH OF THE FRONT AS IT MOVES
ACROSS THE AREA. SOME OF THESE STORMS COULD PRODUCE STRONG GUSTY
WINDS...DEADLY LIGHTNING AND HEAVY DOWNPOURS.

SPOTTER NETWORK ACTIVATION IS NOT EXPECTED TO BE NECESSARY THIS AFTERNOON
OR TONIUGHT. HOWEVER SPOTTER GROUPS AND EMERGENCY MANGEMENT PERSONNEL IN
NORTH AND CENTRAL GEORGIA SHOULD CONTINUE TO MONITOR WEATHER DEVELOPMENTS.
