SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL  800 AM CDT
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATIONS...
 
IN SOUTH CENTRAL TEXAS
 
   ...TRAVIS COUNTY...WILLIAMSON COUNTY
 
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR SHOWED A SEVERE
THUNDERSTORM NEAR LAGO VISTA IN TRAVIS COUNTY. THIS
STORM WAS MOVING TOWARD THE NORTHEAST AT 35 MPH.
 
AS THIS STORM MOVED ACROSS LAGO VISTA IT PRODUCED QUARTER
SIZE HAIL.  THIS STORM WILL AFFECT CEDAR PARK AND LEANDER
BETWEEN 715 AND 735 AM.,
 
 
 
PEOPLE IN THE PATH OF THIS STORM SHOULD BE ALERT TO THE POSSIBILITY
OF LARGE HAIL AND DAMAGING WINDS.  FREQUENT LIGHTNING AND LOCALLY
HEAVY RAIN CAN OCCUR WITH ANY THUNDERSTORM.

   CENTRAL TEXAS...
   LEE...BASTROP...FAYETTE...CALDWELL...GONZALES...LAVACA...KARNES
   GUADALUPE...DEWITT AND WILSON...

AT 435 AM CDT...A LINE OF WEAKENING SCATTERED SHOWERS WAS LOCATED
FROM COTULLA TO GEORGE WEST TO SOUTHEAST OF HALLETTSVILLE.  MOVEMENT
WAS SOUTHEAST AT 15 MPH.

THESE SHOWERS WERE LOCATED ALONG A PACIFIC COLD FRONT.  THIS FRONT
WILL USHER IN ANOTHER BRIEF ROUND OF DRIER WEATHER FOR THE HILL
COUNTRY AND MUCH OF SOUTH CENTRAL TEXAS.
