SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL  715 AM CDT
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION...
 
IN SOUTH CENTRAL TEXAS

NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR SHOWED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS
ABOUT 15 MILES SOUTHWEST OF JOHNSON CITY. THIS STORMS WAS MOVING TOWARD
THE NORTHWEST AT 30 MPH. THIS STORM WILL MOVE OVER JOHNSON CITY AND
ROUND MOUNTAIN BETWEEN 640 AND 7 AM.
 
THIS STORM IS CAPABLE OF PRODUCING LARGE HAIL.
 
 
PEOPLE IN THE PATH OF THIS STORM SHOULD BE ALERT TO THE POSSIBILITY
OF LARGE HAIL AND DAMAGING WINDS.  FREQUENT LIGHTNING AND LOCALLY
HEAVY RAIN CAN OCCUR WITH ANY THUNDERSTORM.

   LEE...BASTROP...FAYETTE...CALDWELL...GONZALES...LAVACA...KARNES
   GUADALUPE...DEWITT AND WILSON...

AT 435 AM CDT...A LINE OF WEAKENING SCATTERED SHOWERS WAS LOCATED
FROM COTULLA TO GEORGE WEST TO SOUTHEAST OF HALLETTSVILLE.  MOVEMENT
WAS SOUTHEAST AT 15 MPH.

THESE SHOWERS WERE LOCATED ALONG A PACIFIC COLD FRONT.  THIS FRONT
WILL USHER IN ANOTHER BRIEF ROUND OF DRIER WEATHER FOR THE HILL
COUNTRY AND MUCH OF SOUTH CENTRAL TEXAS.
