SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL  100 AM CDT
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATIONS...
 
IN SOUTH CENTRAL TEXAS
 
   ...COMAL COUNTY...HAYS COUNTY...TRAVIS COUNTY
 
AT 1150 PM CDT...A LINE OF SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS EXTENDED FROM WEST OF
AUSTIN TO WEST OF NEW BRAUNFELS. DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED WINDS OVER 60
MPH ASSOCIATED WITH THESE STORMS.  THE STORMS WERE MOVING TO THE
NORTHEAST AT 40 MPH.
 
SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WINDS CAN REACH SPEEDS OVER 60 MPH.  THESE WINDS
BLOW DOWN TREES...POWER LINES...AND SEVERELY DAMAGE MOBILE HOMES...
SOMETIMES BUILDINGS.  VERY LARGE HAIL CAN INJURE ANYONE CAUGHT
OUTSIDE.
