AT 1218 PM CDT A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WAS DETECTED BY DOPPLER RADAR
IN WESTERN FRIO COUNTY 14 MILES WEST OF PEARSALL. THIS THUNDERSTORM
WAS MOVING TO THE EAST AT 25 MPH.  THIS WILL PUT THIS STORM OVER THE
CITY OF PEARSALL SHORTLY AFTER 1230PM.
 
 
SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WINDS CAN REACH SPEEDS OVER 60 MPH.  THESE WINDS
BLOW DOWN TREES...POWER LINES...AND SEVERELY DAMAGE MOBILE HOMES...
