000 TTAA00 KSAT 080115 RRA SVRSAT TXC021-055-080215- BULLETIN - IMMEDIATE BROADCAST REQUESTED SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE AUSTIN/SAN ANTONIO TX 812 PM CDT THU SEP 7 1995 THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN AUSTIN/SAN ANTONIO HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 915 PM CDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATIONS... IN SOUTH CENTRAL TEXAS ...BASTROP COUNTY...CALDWELL COUNTY A LINE OF SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS WAS INDICATED BY DOPPLER RADAR EXTENDING FROM WESTERN BASTROP TO NORTHERN CALDWELL COUNTY. MOVEMENT OF THE STORMS WAS TOWARD THE SOUTH AT 20 MILES PER HOUR. HEAVY RAIN...LARGE HAIL...AND DAMAGING WIND ARE LIKELY WITH THESE STORMS FOR THE NEXT HOUR. SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WINDS CAN REACH SPEEDS OVER 60 MPH. THESE WINDS BLOW DOWN TREES...POWER LINES...AND SEVERELY DAMAGE MOBILE HOMES... SOMETIMES BUILDINGS. VERY LARGE HAIL CAN INJURE ANYONE CAUGHT OUTSIDE. PEOPLE IN THE PATH OF THIS STORM SHOULD BE ALERT TO THE POSSIBILITY OF LARGE HAIL AND DAMAGING WINDS. FREQUENT LIGHTNING AND LOCALLY HEAVY RAIN CAN OCCUR WITH ANY THUNDERSTORM.
