000 TTAA00 KSAT 080045 RRA SVRSAT TXC031-209-080145- BULLETIN - IMMEDIATE BROADCAST REQUESTED SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE AUSTIN/SAN ANTONIO TX 743 PM CDT THU SEP 7 1995 THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN AUSTIN/SAN ANTONIO HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 845 PM CDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATIONS... IN SOUTH CENTRAL TEXAS ...BLANCO COUNTY...HAYS COUNTY A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WAS INDICATED OVER EASTERN BLANCO COUNTY EXTENDING FROM CYPRESS MILL TO NEAR DRIPPING SPRINGS IN NORTHERN HAYS COUNTY. MOVEMENT WAS TOWARD THE SOUTH AT 20 MILES PER HOUR. BRIEF HEAVY RAIN...POSSIBLE LARGE HAIL...AND DAMAGING WIND CAN BE EXPECTED WITH THIS STORM. SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WINDS CAN REACH SPEEDS OVER 60 MPH. THESE WINDS BLOW DOWN TREES...POWER LINES...AND SEVERELY DAMAGE MOBILE HOMES... SOMETIMES BUILDINGS. VERY LARGE HAIL CAN INJURE ANYONE CAUGHT OUTSIDE. PEOPLE IN THE PATH OF THIS STORM SHOULD BE ALERT TO TH|E POSSIBILITY OF LARGE HAIL AND DAMAGING WINDS. FREQUENT LIGHTNING AND LOCALLY HEAVY RAIN CAN OCCUR WITH ANY THUNDERSTORM.
