THERE IS A SLIGHT RISK FOR SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS THIS AFTERNOON AND
TONIGHT FOR THE SOUTHERN TWO THIRDS OF THE LOWER PENINSULA. THIS AREA IS
SOUTH OF A LINE FROM OSCODA TO NEAR MANISTEE.

THUNDERSTORMS ARE BEGINNING TO DEVELOP SOUTHERN LOWER PENINSULA. SOME OF
THESE THUNDERSTORMS COULD PRODUCE WIND GUSTS IN EXCESS 60 MPH AND HAIL
TO 3/4 INCH IN DIAMETER.

ADDITIONAL THUNDERSTORMS ARE POSSIBLE ACROSS THE REST OF NORTHERN
LOWER... HOWEVER THESE THUNDERSTORMS ARE EXPECTED TO REMAIN BELOW
SEVERE LIMITS. WIND GUSTS TO 35 MILES AN HOUR AN D SMALL HAIL ARE
POSSIBLE WITH THESE THUNDERSTORMS.
