FLASH FLOOD WARNING      EFFECTIVE UNTIL  900 AM EDT
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATIONS...
 
IN  SOUTH CAROLINA
 
   ...ALLENDALE COUNTY...COLLETON COUNTY...HAMPTON COUNTY
   ...JASPER COUNTY
 
AN AREA OF HEAVY SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS CONTINUES FROM NEAR RIDGELAND
IN JASPER COUNTY THROUGH HAMPTON AND ALLENDALE COUNTIES AND OVER THE
NORTHERN PORTION OF COLLETON COUNTY. THESE STORMS WILL PRODUCE AN
ADDITIONAL 2 TO 3 INCHES OF RAIN DURING THE NEXT 3 HOURS OVER THE WARNED
AREA....CAUSING FLOODING OF SMALL STREAMS...DRAINAGE DITCHES...STREETS
AND HIGHWAYS.
 
DO NOT DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE INTO AREAS WHERE THE WATER COVERS THE
ROADWAY.  THE WATER DEPTH MAY BE TOO GREAT TO ALLOW YOUR CAR TO
CROSS SAFELY.  VEHICLES CAUGHT IN RISING WATER SHOULD BE
ABANDONED QUICKLY.  MOVE TO HIGHER GROUND.
