FLASH FLOOD WARNING      EFFECTIVE UNTIL  100 AM EDT
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATIONS...
 
IN  GEORGIA
 
   ...BULLOCH COUNTY...EFFINGHAM COUNTY...SCREVEN COUNTY
 
BANDS OF VERY HEAVY RAINFALL WITH AMOUNTS RANGING FROM 2 TO 3 INCHES
CONTINUE TO TRAIN OVER THE AREA. SEVERAL ROADS HAVE BEEN CLOSED IN
EFFINGHAM COUNTY. DRAINAGE DITCHES AND SMALL STREAMS AND CREEKS ARE AT
OR NEAR BANKFUL. RADAR AND SATELITTE ESIMATES INDICATE 2 TO 6 INCHES OF
RAIN HAVE FALLEN OVER THE WARNED AREA SINCE LATE AFTERNOON.
 
 
BE ESPECIALLY CAUTIOUS AT NIGHT WHEN IT IS HARDER TO RECOGNIZE
THE DANGERS OF FLOODS AND FLASH FLOODS.  IF FLASH FLOODING IS
OBSERVED...ACT QUICKLY.  MOVE UP TO ESCAPE FLOOD WATERS.  DO
NOT STAY IN AREAS SUBJECT TO FLOODING WHEN WATER BEGINS RISING.
