BROWNSVILLE WEATHER RADAR INDICATED AN AREA OF THUNDERSTORMS OVER
WESTERN STARR COUNTY. THESE THUNDERSTORMS ARE MOVING EAST AT 15 MILES AN
HOUR.
 
WHEN THUNDERSTORMS ARE OCCURRING...PEOPLE SHOULD MOVE INSIDE A

...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT FOR DEEP SOUTH TEXAS
   UNTIL 9 PM CDT THIS EVENING...

AT 545 PM...DOPPLER RADAR IN BROWNSVILLE INDICATED AN AREA OF INTENSE
TO SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS FROM EXTREME NORTHEASTERN ZAPATA COUNTY
THROUGH NORTHERN JIM HOGG COUNTY.  THESE STORMS WERE MOVING SOUTHEAST
AT 25 MPH AND WILL PRODUCE TORRENTIAL RAINS...WIND GUSTS IN EXCESS OF
40 MPH AND POSSIBLY SOME HAIL ACROSS PORTIONS OF ZAPATA...JIM HOGG AND
BROOKS COUNTIES DURING THE NEXT HOUR.

THE POTENTIAL FOR INTENSE THUNDERSTORMS WILL CONTINUE ACROSS DEEfP
