IN WEST CENTRAL ALABAMA ...PICKENS COUNTY AT 559 PM...WEATHER SERVICE RADAR SHOWED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM OVER NORTHERN GREENE COUNTY...NORTH OF UNION. THIS STORM WAS MOVING WEST AT 20 MPH...AND WILL BE MOVING INTO SOUTHEAST PICKENS COUNTY BY 610 PM. THIS STORM WILL BE AFFECTING PLEASANT GROVE...OLNEY AND ALICEVILLE BY 630 PM. VERY STRONG WIND...DANGEROUS LIGHTNING AND HAIL ARE LIKELY WITH THIS STORM. WHEN THUNDERSTORMS ARE OCCURRING...PEOPLE SHOULD MOVE INSIDE A STRONG BUILDING. DO NOT STAND BY WINDOWS.
