000 TTAA00 KALB 292105 SVRALB NYC111-292200- BULLETIN - EBS ACTIVATION REQUESTED SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE ALBANY NY 505 PM EDT MON MAY 29 1995 THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN ALBANY NY HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 600 PM EDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION... IN SOUTHEAST NEW YORK ...ULSTER COUNTY A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WILL ENTER SOUTHERN ULSTER COUNTY NEAR ULSTERVILLE AROUND 515 PM. AT 5:30 PM THIS SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WILL BE ABOUT 11 MILES SOUTH OF NEW PALTZ NEAR WALLKILL IN SOUTHERN ULSTER COUNTY. IF YOU LIVE IN THIS AREA - BE READY TO SEEK SHELTER IN A BASEMENT OR SMALL INTERIOR ROOM - AWAY FROM WINDOWS. SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS CAUSE DAMAGING WINDS IN EXCESS OF 60 MILES AN HOUR...LARGE HAIL...AND DANGEROUS LIGHTNING. TORRENTIAL RAIN AND FLOODING MAY ALSO OCCUR WITH SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS. DO NOT DRIVE INTO AREAS WHERE WATER COVERS THE ROAD. THIS IS A DANGEROUS STORM. IF YOU ARE IN ITS PATH YOU SHOULD PREPARE FOR DAMAGING WIND IN EXCESS OF 55 MPH...LARGE HAIL...AND DEADLY LIGHTNING.
