THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN TULSA HAS ISSUED A
TORNADO WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 1230 AM CDT
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATIONS...
 
IN EAST CENTRAL OKLAHOMA
 
   ...SOUTHERN OKFUSKEE COUNTY
 
AT 1147 PM...RADAR SHOWED A POSSIBLE TORNADO 6 MILES NORTHEAST OF
OKEMAH. THE STORM WAS MOVING SOUTH SOUTHEAST AT 20 MPH. PHAROAH AND
WELEETKA ARE IN THE PATH OF THIS STORM.
 
RADAR ALSO SHOWS ANOTHER POSSIBLE TORNADO MOVING INTO NORTHWEST OKFUSKEE
COUNTY. THAT STORM WAS 19 MILES WEST OF WELTY. A TORNADO WARNING REMAINS
IN EFFECT FOR NORTHERN OKFUSKEE COUNTY UNTIL 1215 AM.
 
 
THIS IS A DANGEROUS STORM SITUATION.  ACT QUICKLY.  IF YOU ARE IN THE
PATH OF THIS TORNADO MOVE TO A SHELTER BELOW GROUND IF AVAILABLE.
OTHERWISE...GO TO A SMALL INTERIOR ROOM ON THE LOWEST FLOOR POSSIBLE.
STAY AWAY FROM OUTSIDE WALLS AND AVOID WINDOWS.  ABANDON CARS AND
MOBILE HOMES FOR A REINFORCED BUILDING OR GET IN A GROUND DEPRESSION.
