NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE CONCORDIA KS 930 AM CDT TUE JUN 7 1994 ...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WERE OVER NORTHERN SMITH AND JEWELL COUNTIES... ...SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH #342 REMAINS IN EFFECT FOR ALL OF NORTH CENTRAL KANSAS UNTIL 1 PM... AT 928 AM RADAR INDICATED A LINE OF THUNDERSTORMS WHOSE LEADING EDGE WAS FROM NEAR KENSINGTON TO MANKATO TO THE CITY OF REPUBLIC. THE STRONGEST STORMS WERE JUST TO THE NORTH AND EAST OF BURR OAK...OR 40 MILES NORTHWEST OF CONCORDIA. MOVEMENT CONTINUED SOUTHEAST AT 25 MPH. AT 940 AM...DOPPLER RADAR SHOWED A FEW SPRINKLES IN THE TOPEKA AREA WHILE THE REMAINDER OF NORTHEAST KANSAS WAS RAIN-FREE.
