...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WERE OVER NORTHERN SMITH AND JEWELL COUNTIES...
...SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH #342 REMAINS IN EFFECT FOR ALL OF NORTH
   CENTRAL KANSAS UNTIL 1 PM...

AT 928 AM RADAR INDICATED A LINE OF THUNDERSTORMS WHOSE LEADING EDGE
WAS FROM NEAR KENSINGTON TO MANKATO TO THE CITY OF REPUBLIC. THE
STRONGEST STORMS WERE JUST TO THE NORTH AND EAST OF BURR OAK...OR
40 MILES NORTHWEST OF CONCORDIA. MOVEMENT CONTINUED SOUTHEAST AT 25 MPH.
THESE STORMS WILL PRODUCE WINDS UP TO 50 MPH AND POSSIBLY SMALL HAIL AS
THEY MOVE TOWARD THE BELLEVILLE AND JAMESTOWN AREAS BY 10 AM.

...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH CONTINUES FOR RILEY AND GEARY COUNTIES
   UNTIL 1 PM...

AT 940 AM...DOPPLER RADAR SHOWED A FEW SPRINKLES IN THE TOPEKA AREA WHILE
THE REMAINDER OF NORTHEAST KANSAS WAS RAIN-FREE.

STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WERE ALSO DETECTED ACROSS PORTIONS OF SOUTH CENTRAL
NEBRASKA AND NORTH CENTRAL KANSAS TO THE WEST OF A LINE FROM LINCOLN TO
CONCORDIA. THESE THUNDERSTORMS WERE MOVING EAST-SOUTHEAST AT 25 TO 30 MPH
AND MAY MOVE INTO THE MARYSVILLE AND MANHATTAN AREAS AFTER 11 AM.
